Gomismta                    

The mountain resort is part of the Guria-Adjara ridge and its altitude ranges from 2100 metres to 2755 metres. It is known as a summer resort due to its mountain climate. Its unique nature and the Chinchao Lake at an altitude of 2500 metres offers an unforgettable experience. The unusual conditions of the resort are still untapped today. Gomismta as a territorial unit is part of Ozurgeti Municipality. It is located 12-15 km from the city centre.

Today Gomismata is a spa with mineral waters, forests, healing climate and other natural resources that can be used for treatment, prevention and physiotherapy; with the development of appropriate infrastructure the resort will meet the needs of tourists in the future.
