It is situated in the south-western part of the Kolkheti lowland. The resort is bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the east by the mountains, to the north and south by the Supsa and Natane rivers. The history of the resort dates back more than 100 years, and it has officially existed as a resort since 1971. The climate is humid, subtropical. The average number of hours of sunshine are 1800-1820. The average annual temperature is 14.3 degrees. Winters are very mild (5.8 degrees in January), the sea, the sun, the fine "velvety" sand, which has magnetic properties, give the resort the best relaxing and healing properties. The natural conditions of Ureki can be used to treat diseases of the cardiovascular system, peripheral organs and musculoskeletal organs in both adults and children.
